Jeannette C. Richard

Jeannette C. Richard, passed March 28, 2017 in Barefoot Bay, FL. Jeannette died peacefully at home after a brief but intense battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Jeannette and John were the previous owners of Circle C Campground in Voluntown, CT from 1979 to 2007. They relished that time where their full-time job was simply making sure that everyone around them were having a good time. She was a consummate hostess and is known and remembered for her quick-wit and contagious sense of humor. After her retirement to Barefoot Bay in 2007, she continued to bless her family and new circle of friends with frequent laughs and fond memories of many good times.

Jeannette received her education at the Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH. She earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Providence College. She completed her nursing training at the St Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. She was licensed as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island and Connecticut. She worked as a Nurse for over 40 years in the areas of Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics and for the majority of her career as an Emergency Room Nurse.

The Jeannette Richard Benefit Scholarship Fund was established at the time of her death to support students, active in, or accepted to, a Nursing Program.

Purpose: To provide financial support to a student accepted in to or enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program (LPN, RN, BSN).
